Privacy Policy

Pawmento ("we," "us") makes custom 3D-printed keepsakes of companion animals from photos you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect it. We've written it to be read, not skimmed past — because you're trusting us with photos of someone you love.

What we collect

• Contact and order details — your name, email address, shipping address, and the details of your order (size, finish, options).
• Your pet's photos and details — the 2–3 photos you upload, your pet's name, and anything you tell us about them.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic site data — standard server logs and minimal analytics (pages visited, approximate region). We do not run advertising trackers.
• Communications — emails you exchange with us, and any review or photo you choose to submit after delivery.

How we use it

• To create your keepsake: your photos are processed by our 3D-modeling technology to produce the sculpt you preview and approve.
• To fulfill and ship your order, and to send you service emails about it (confirmation, preview ready, shipping).
• To ask, once and gently, how the piece found its home — our post-delivery note.
• We do not sell your information. We do not use your photos to train AI models. We do not use grief-targeted advertising, retargeting pressure, or countdown tactics — ever.

Your photos, specifically

• You grant us a limited license to process your photos solely to create your keepsake (including generating the 3D model and preparing it for printing).
• Original photos are automatically deleted 90 days after your order is delivered.
• We will never use your pet's photo, name, or finished piece in our gallery or marketing without your explicit written permission.
• If a photo includes people, we crop to your pet at intake.

Who we share it with

Only the services required to make and deliver your keepsake:

• Stripe — payment processing and, where applicable, sales-tax calculation.
• Our 3D-model generation processor — receives your photos to produce the sculpt, under terms that prohibit other use.
• Our production partner — receives the model, order specs, and shipping address to print, finish, and ship your piece.
• Email and hosting providers — to send service emails and run this website.
• Shipping carriers — name and address, for delivery.

We may also disclose information if required by law. That's the complete list — no data brokers, no advertisers.

How we protect it

• All traffic to and from this site is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Photos and 3D models are stored in private, access-controlled storage — never on public links. Preview pages use unguessable, per-order tokens.
• Access is limited to the people who need it to make your piece.

How long we keep it

• Photos: deleted 90 days after delivery (see above).
• Order records: kept as required for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes.
• Reviews and gallery permissions: kept until you withdraw them.

Your choices

Email us at hello@getapawmento.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to delete it (we'll comply except where records are legally required), or withdraw a gallery/review permission at any time. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.

Children

Our service is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
