Terms of Service

Effective July 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of getapawmento.com and your purchase of a Pawmento keepsake. By placing an order, you agree to them. We've kept them in plain language on purpose.

1. What we make

Pawmento creates custom, made-to-order keepsakes: a sculpted likeness of your companion animal, generated from the photos you provide, precision 3D printed, and finished by hand. Your keepsake is a sculpted, artistic likeness — closer to a hand-carved keepsake than a photographic replica. We show you exactly what it will look like before it's made; that preview is the standard the finished piece is held to.

2. Your photos and content

• You confirm you own the photos you upload, or have permission to use them.
• You grant us a limited license to process them solely to create your keepsake, as described in our Privacy Policy (including automatic deletion 90 days after delivery).
• You keep all rights to your photos. We don't use your pet's image in marketing without your written permission.

3. The preview and your approval

• After you order, we produce a 3D preview of your sculpt. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
• One revision is included with every order. Additional revisions may be accommodated at our discretion.
• Love the preview or pay nothing: if the preview doesn't capture your companion after your included revision, tell us and we'll refund you in full.

4. The finished piece

• Love the keepsake or we make it right: if the piece arrives damaged, defective, or meaningfully different from the preview you approved, we'll remake it or refund it — your choice. Contact us within 30 days of delivery.
• Because every piece is custom-made to your approved preview, we don't accept change-of-mind returns beyond the guarantees above.
• Minor variations inherent to 3D printing and hand-finishing (fine layer texture, slight finish variation) are part of the craft and not defects. Keepsakes are decorative indoor objects — they are not toys and not suitable for children under 3.

5. Pricing, payment, and taxes

• Prices are shown at checkout and charged in USD when you place your order. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Sales tax is collected where required by law.
• Timelines shown (preview and delivery) are good-faith estimates, not guarantees; larger pieces take longer, and we'll keep you informed.

6. Shipping

We ship within the United States (shipping included unless stated otherwise at checkout). Risk of loss passes on delivery; if a shipment arrives damaged, the remake-or-refund guarantee in §4 applies.

7. Our rights

Everything about this site and our process — the brand, designs, text, tooling, and the 3D models we generate — belongs to Pawmento. The physical keepsake you purchase is yours. We may decline any order at our discretion (with a full refund), including photos we can't produce a good result from or content that is unlawful.

8. Disclaimers and limits

Beyond the express guarantees in §3 and §4, the service is provided "as is," and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be limited.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. If something goes wrong, email us first — hello@getapawmento.com — and we'll make an honest effort to fix it before anything formal.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Changes apply to orders placed after they take effect.
